Paul was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. He lives in the Central Savannah River Area of South Carolina with his wife and Walter, their Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix. A military veteran and retired police officer, he has enjoyed creative writing since childhood. He earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Liberty University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Luther Rice College and Seminary. He currently tutors part time and is working on several projects.
